Who made it?
What is it made from?
What happens after a year of actual use?
Would you still want it without the story?
And the dangerous one: where, exactly, will it live?
Turn the object over. Check the seam, clasp, edge, weight and balance. Heritage is not an excuse for weak finishing. “Luxury” is not evidence of quality. “Handmade” tells you how something began, not whether it deserves to come home.
A KARGA object should pass inspection and become more personal with wear. It should survive outside the store lighting, outside the caption and outside the holiday mood in which you first saw it.
If it needs constant explanation, leave it for someone more patient.
